How much of your webcam income can you expect to lose in Federal and state taxes? I was also wondering how large of a cut you can expect the cam company you choose to take? I mean what is the standard percentage?

If you’re working through a studio they’re going to pocket a commission and it’s different for each one. It’s much better to work direct. As for taxes, that’s going to depend on how much income you make in a year and which bracket you fall into.

If you work from home, you can write off a lot of expenses. You can say that a large portion of your home is your studio. Save every receipt you can, and put it towards your right-offs.

A maximum of 1/4 of the total income will be taken away from you.
