The other day someone told me that I couldn’t claim to be a feminist considering the job I do. She kept on about how I am pandering to male fantasies and hurting other women who want to be ‘taken seriously’. Do you agree with this point of view?
My understanding of feminism is that it is about equality and free choice. I can’t see why it matters what job you do. There are plenty of women doing more regular things that actually have less options than we do.
