I always wonder this when I take it private with a client. Are we being recorded? How easy would it be for a client to record our shows and make money off the recordings? I just worry that one day my kids might come across some clip of me from 10 years prior and freak out because mommy used to be a stripper.
You see, this is why I wear a colored wig in every show. I don’t think there’s a way you can know, whether they record you or not, they stare at you anyway. Aren’t there a set of rules or laws against this?
I am sure that the majority of guys record their sessions. After all, they want to get their money’s worth. And saving some for later ensures that they can give themselves a “freebie” every now and then.

This is probably true, but I find it disturbing. If I ever came across an unauthorized video of myself on the internet I think I would freak out. We need better laws pertaining to internet porn to protect our rights.
There is no way for you to know if your clients are recording you or not and it doesn’t matter a whole lot anyway. Most of the studios have a clause in your contract that says they can record the sessions and use them however they want.
I am sure that we aren’t being recorded ALL of the time, but it probably happens more often than most women think. You know the companies we work for are recording at least some of the shows for certain!
I actually just started a thread about this. Please make sure that you read the contracts these companies offer before you sign on with them. A lot of companies take still images and then use them in their advertisements on other websites.
I try to keep my eyes on their hands. I also try to make sure I give them plenty to do with their hands. Sure, they may have already set up the recorder beforehand, but if they haven’t, I do my best to try to prevent it.
